Mothers should not breastfeed unless they have to.

This ignores that:

• Something can be good without being required.
• Breastfeeding is not something odd or upsetting that is only acceptable if it is necessary.

Women do not need to justify their choice to breastfeed.

It is okay to breastfeed just because you and your child want to do so.
